Tarek Saab

Tarek Ibrahim Saab (born September 24, 1978 in New Bedford, Massachusetts) was a candidate on NBC's The Apprentice 5. He is the co-founder and President of GoldandSilverNow, a gold and silver bullion company. His book, Gut Check: Confronting Love, Work and Manhood (ISBN 978-0-615230-61-0) was released March 1, 2008 and is published through Ransom Books. In 2005, Saab co-founded Lionheart Apparel, a men's clothing line, and he remains a minority owner.
Early life
Tarek was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts to Lebanese parents. He spent part of his childhood in Lebanon before relocating to the United States, at times living in public housing projects.
Tarek attended Tabor Academy, a boarding school in Marion, Massachusetts. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Saint Anselm College and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Catholic University of America.
Career
Upon graduating from college, Tarek spent five years with Texas Instruments. He finished his career with TI as a Global Product Manager in the Semiconductor division.
Saab's big break occurred on the business reality television series The Apprentice, starring Donald Trump. He has been featured in such magazines as Us Weekly, TV Guide, Teen People, Enigma, In Touch Weekly, Inside Pulse, Fort Worth Business Press, The Dallas Business Journal, and Texas Lawyer.
Personal life
Tarek is a member of the Maronite Catholic Church and active in the Pro-Life movement.
He is a member of American Mensa, a fact that was emphasized when he was presented at the beginning of The Apprentice 5 season and to which Donald J. Trump has alluded on a number of occasions.
