Tapan Vyas is an Indian cinematographer & Director known for his work in Love Ni Bhavai, Paaghadi, Mijaaj and '. He works predominantly in Gujarati & Hindi Industries. He is an alumnus of Film and Television Institute of India Early life Tapan Vyas Born in Ahmedabad (Gujarat State, India), trained to be a Chemical Engineer, ever so fascinated by magic of cinema decided to plunge into film making and received formal training in Art of Cinematography from “Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune”. After passing out from the FTII, I came to Mumbai to find work. I Started working with different DOPs/Cinematographers as an assistant for couple of years and then started working as independent Cinematographer. Now, I am also Directing full length ‘Feature Films’. Regardless of the type of the project my goal as a filmmaker is to create powerful images to give everlasting experience of the cinema to the viewers. A decade long work experience comprise of number of TV Commercials, Documentaries, Corporate films and feature films. As a cinematographer for “Ocean of an Old man” received critical appreciation. Apart from this, I believe, formative years in Old city of Ahmedabad, graduation in Chemical Engineering from top engineering college will also help me to think creatively, latterly and co ordinate multiple tasks to complete projects effectively.
