Tanka Timilsina

Tanka Prasad Jaisi is professionally Known as Tanka Timilsina (born 10 July, 1996) is a Nepalese singer, songwriter, and performer known for songs in the folk-pop and modern Nepali music genres. He is best known for his singles including Meri Champa.
Early life and education
Timilsina was born to father Datta Raj Jaisi and Mother Pabitra Devi Jaisi in Achham. After completing his , he moved to Nepalgunj for higher education. His career in music began as a host of a program called 'Ramailo Dohori Sanjh' on Radio Bheri in Nepalgunj. He recorded his first song, "Juni Juni Timilai Maya Garchhu". Later he shifted on Kathmandu to pursue a musical career. He was Inspired by local folk traditions and modern Nepali pop music, he developed a style combining fusion, deuda rhythms, and contemporary instrumentation.
Musical career
Timilsina started his professional music career in 2012 and has released numerous songs. His singles include "Meri Champa", "Joni Hiro Dekhinchha", "Oi Maya Oi Maya Teej", "Man Maya" and "Hot Dance".
Timilsina is known for modernizing the deuda style while maintaining traditional roots. His fusion of folk rhythms with pop and rock has gained popularity among young audiences.
He has performed in over 1,000 domestic events and more than 100 international shows in Multiple Countries. He has also participated in cultural and religious events like Pashupatinath cleaning programs.
