Tamarac Park (also known as "Track 27") to locals, is a public sports and recreation park in the city of Tamarac, Florida. The park is located on Northwest 77th Street and Nob Hill Road, adjacent to the King's Point senior living complex and Pine Island Road, just down the block on Northwest 77th. The park is conveniently served via mass transit on the bus route 2, on the Broward County Transit's bus line. The park features two football/soccer combination fields, two baseball fields, a playground, basketball courts, a roller hockey rink, and tennis courts. There are currently plans to expand the park, adding a walkway with water fountains, and more basketball courts, to accommodate for the crowded number of people who are using the courts. Streetball competition is noted to be fierce on Friday nights, as many head to the park for pickup games. Edit: As someone who used to play there every night for years, competition is best on Sunday night's, as is with every streetball court in Florida.
