Tam Sheang Tsung

Tam Sheang Tsung (born May 24, 1995 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Malaysian footballer who is currently playing for Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League as a Midfielder.
Even though Tam was born and raised in Tokyo, he still officially holds a Malaysian passport.
Career
Tam started his career with the Yokohama FC’s Under-15 team, despite being 13 years old. At the age 14, Tam joined São Bernardo Futebol Clube for an intense training with the Sao Bernado FC Under-20s team. After the stint ended with the Brazilian club, Tam rejoined Yokohama's youth team.
In March 2011, Tam joined Cardiff City's after being brought by Tan Sri Vincent Tan and Tam played for Cardiff's youth team for 3 months. Tam then joined Sagan Tosu's youth academy, which then caught the attentions of the Malaysian media.
After attending a long six-month trial, Tam joined Chinese Super League side, Shanghai Shenhua on 24 May 2012 and was presented by Nicholas Anelka.
Tam made his first official senior debut on 25 July 2012, coming on as a 86th-minute substitute for Feng Renliang in a preseason friendly match against Manchester United.
International Career
Tam is eligible to play for Malaysia. He is also eligible to play for Japan. On 17 January 2013, it was comfirmed by Harimau Muda A coach Ong Kim Swee, that Tam would training with the team on 18 January.
Personal life
Tam was born in Tokyo, Japan to Malaysian Chinese parents who hails from Kuala Lumpur. Tam's Parents, Tam Yun Tong and Chin Hui Ang is the owner of Rasa Malaysia Cuisine Restaurant in Ginza, Tokyo for the past 16 years.
