TALO Distributors, Inc. is a wholesale buying cooperative in the hunting and fishing trade that commissions exclusive editions of firearms from , Smith & Wesson, Ruger, Glock and North American Arms for their network of dealers. History TALO was founded in 1965 by a group of firearms wholesalers from Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. The names of these states formed an acronym for the new entity as TALO. Their collective buying power allowed them to order exclusive firearms from manufacturers with engraving, gold accents or special materials to offer as exclusives to their customers. See Also
