Talei Burns

Talei Burns is a Fijian born singer and songwriter. She first rose to fame in a TV aired singing contest on Fiji One in 2000 and has been in the music industry since then. She now has a husband, Nemani and they travel around Fiji performing gigs as a duo. Talei was also one of the singers that featured on the modified Fiji national anthem song, 'We Are Fiji', produced by another local music artist Daniel Rae Costello, which appears from time to time on Fiji One Television. She has recorded renditions of numerous songs, including, but not limited to; 'Isa Lei Lia', a popular Fijian song, 'No Woman No Cry' by Bob Marley, 'Give Me A Reason' by Pink, 'Someone Like You' by Adele and 'Zombie' by the Cranberries. A popular original song by the duo, Nem and Talei, 'Coming Home', is a single released in 2016. |
