Tako Taal is a Welsh-Gambian artist, filmmaker, and programmer based in Glasgow, Scotland. Her work focuses on various ways in which the legacy of colonialism impacts social and psychological conditions in the present day. Career Taal graduated from Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen in 2015. Following a two-year residency at Tablot Rice Gallery in Edinburgh, She is scheduled to debut her first solo exhibition at Dundee Contemporary Arts in December, 2022.
