Tai Gwalia Cyf is a housing association (provider of social housing) in south and mid Wales. It is part of Pobl Group which was formed on April 1st 2016. Founded as Gwalia Housing Society Ltd in Swansea in 1973. The society was organised by a group of local people and consultants to provide low-cost housing in Wales. The organisation was renamed Gwalia Housing Group Ltd in the 1980s, and Grŵp Gwalia Cyf in 2005 before merging with another housing association on 1st April 2016 and reverting back to its legal entity name to sit under the newly formed Pobl Group. Tai Gwalia Cyf (Gwalia) provides a range of housing options with associated tenancy support to people looking to move into a home of their own. They offer general, intermediate and sheltered rental options. |
