Tahigo

TAHIGO is a French ska punk band from Rouen (Normandy).
The band
The band was found on 2003 (the first name was "Muffin Kriska").The music of TAHIGO is a subtle mixture of ska and of festive rock. On certain songs, tones more metal les trains sont toujours en retard) or reggae (tout va de travers) come to stress a music based on the changes of rhythms.
Strongly inspired the work of French band "Marcel et son orchestre", the words often turn in mockery the French lifestyle(coma idyllique les produits light, tuons le temps, etc)in particular highly-rated grouchy of the French people(fête du bruit, les trains sont toujours en retard, etc). Sometimes lighter, but always on an ironic tone, they describe characters of the daily life (le marchand de beignet, le fou du volant, doc).
The band win in 2004 "the festival of the young talents" of Saint-Etienne du Rouvray (France) and he also participated in famous European ska punk contest "l'askadémie 3" in the course of which he obtained in particular a special mention on behalf of the singer of Ska-P. More recently, he participated in the international springboard ZIKMEUP.
