Tafseer-e-Siddiqui

The Tafseer-e-Siddiqui is a six-volume Sunni Islam Tafsir of the Qur'an by Muhammad Abdul Qadeer Siddiqi Qadri Hasrat, who was a renowned Islamic theologian, Qur'anic exegete, poet, and a celebrated sufi of Southern India. Born in the city of Hyderabad, Siddiqui was the first dean of the faculty of Theology of the newly established Osmania University, built by the Nizam VII Osman Ali Khan of the State of Hyderabad. Due to his esteemed knowledge of Islamic Sciences, Siddiqui was always referred to by his peers and followers as Bahr Ul Uloom (ocean of knowledge).
Tafsir (, tafsīr, "interpretation") is the Arabic word for exegesis or commentary, usually of the Qur'an. It does not include esoteric or mystical interpretations, which are covered by the related word '. An author of tafsir is a mufassir (, mufassir, plural: , mufassirūn).
Muhammad Abdul Qadeer Siddiqi Qadri started writing the Tafsir after he retired, which was published in the magazine Al-Qadeer named after him, it was printed under the title Dars-ul-Qur'an. When completed, it was printed under the title "Tafseer-e-Siddiqui".
In addition to this completed tafsir, he also compiled separate commentaries focused on the first chapter of the Qur'an "Surat al-Fatihah" titled "Tafsir-e-surat al-Fatihah" as well as the 30th part of the Qur'an Juz' al-'Amm, which was titled as Tafsir-e-Latifi. In this he addressed the womenfolk during the explanation of different verses and hence the word "Latifi" appears in the title.
The Tafsir is a part of the curriculum of many Indian and Pakistani colleges and is widely appreciated since as a professor of Arabic and Theology, he attempted to interpret the Qur'anic Arabic in Urdu as well to as address some critical current issues.
The Tafsir comprises six volumes
*Volume 1 - Juz' 1 to Juz' 5 - Introduction, Surah Al-Fatiha to Surah An-Nisa.
*Volume 2 - Juz' 6 to Juz' 10 - Surah An-Nisa (continued) to Surah At-Tawba.
*Volume 3 - Juz' 11 to Juz' 15 - Surah At-Tawba (continued) to Surah Al-Kahf.
*Volume 4 - Juz' 16 to Juz' 20 - Surah Al-Kahf (continued) to Surah Al-Ankabut.
*Volume 5 - Juz' 21 to Juz' 25 - Surah Al-Ankabut (continued) to Surah Al-Jathiya.
*Volume 6 - Juz' 26 to Juz' 30 - Surah Al-Ahqaf to Surah An-Nas.
