T.S.I. is the upcoming fifth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado. Production While Furtado began working with guitarist and producer James Bryan on Mi Plan, she also started to work on a possible English language album. The project began under the working title of Lifestyle. Subsequently, two unfinished tracks surfaced; "Night Is Young" and "Girlfriend in this City", both in which were latter featured on her 2010 compilation. The first producer she worked with was Salaam Remi , who previously produced "Night Is Young". Remi produced a entitled track, "The Edge" and which features Passion Pit's lead singer Mike Angelakos. The lyrics of the song are reported to be influenced by the Tiger Woods cheating scandal. She also worked with the Hip-Hop/RnB producer Rodney Jerkins and with Di Genius on Reggae songs in Jamaica. Later via her twitter she tweeted that she worked on "tear-drop' songs and a song similar of "Saturdays" On July 2 2011, Nelly performed a new track entitled "Mystery" from her upcoming studio album. The acoustic ballad was performed in The Delta Tejo Festival.Later it was revealed that the song was produced by Di Genius. In 2011, during a trip in the Maasai region in Kenya for Free the Children, she met the Kenyan Boys Choir with whom she recorded a duet called "Melt My Heart Right Now". She also worked with Rick Nowels who produced her 2007 single . Through a video posted on her website, she was working with the producer Bob Rock best known for producing bands such as Aerosmith and Metallica, she described their work as a "kick-ass song". In the same video, Furtado was also working with Fraser. For this new album she also worked with The Neptunes, Jim Beanz, Ryan Tedder and Lester Mendez. Furtado announced via her twitter that she would include rapper Nas on her upcoming lead single, amongst others to be featured on the album. On December 23rd, she revealed on a video posted on her website that her new album is called "T.S.I" and the album is targeted for a summer release. T.S.I are the initials of the album, she's not revealed the entire name yet. In an Interview with BestFanTV she described the album as "raw", she also announced that she collaborated with Nas, Sara Tavares, Tiesto, Mike Angelakos (Passion Pit) and Ace Primo. In an intimate interview for RTP1, Nelly spoke about the direction she took for Lifestyle :"On this new album I’m going to be UHMM I don’t know, there’s some Hip-hop on there, there’s some R&B I can’t really get the urban out of me you know..."
