Phillip Robert Fender (born July 25, 1986), known professionally as T-BABY, is an American songwriter and recording artist of Jamaican descent based in Los Angeles, California. He is most known for co-writing the hit song "Light It Up" ft. Nyla from Major Lazer's third studio album, "Peace Is The Mission. In November 2015 Major Lazer released a remixed version of "Light It Up" featuring additional vocals from Fuse ODG. That remix was was declared by BBC's Annie Mac as "the hottest record in the world" and went on to became a top 10 hit in UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. T-BABY is one fourth of the songwriting & production team PYRMDZ and also CEO of PYRMDZ Publishing LLC.
