Highlights *RedCloud did an average of 150 shows a year before Koch. *Sackcloth Fashion & RedCloud each moved over 40,000 units on their freshman releases before securing a distribution deal with Koch.
Timeline *1997 - 100 copies pressed of Sackcloth Fashion - We've Only Just Begun for performance at Cornerstone Festival. Sold out in just a few hours. A fan base was born. Yes, we said 100.
*1998 - MaxOne of Sackcloth Fashion was picked out of 10,000 demo’s submitted to appear on MTV’s The Cut hosted by Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes from TLC. Timothy Trudeau scrambled to put together a logo to press on MaxOne's T-Shirt. A Brand was born.
*1999 - Sackcloth Fashion/Syntax Records signed international pass through distribution deal with Rescue Records for the album "Something For Everyone To Hate". According to Diamante Music Group this was the #1 Rescue Records seller until the P.O.D. albums were rereleased.
*2000 - Landed direct national distribution deal with Diamante Music Group.
*2001 - Success achieved introducing new artists and concept projects to a hungry niche market.
*2002 - Diamante Music Group is sold to Servant Distribution who destroys what had been achieved and file bankruptcy the same year. Diamane Media Group opens doors and tries to help labels pick up where Diamante Music Group left off.
*2003 - Diamante Media Group sells to Butterfly. Things are looking good, best material to date was created and put out, months of touring to support the releases. Butterfly makes several life threatening decisions and files bankruptcy.
*2004 - All artists continue to tour because their only income is from concerts and merch. Timothy Trudeau files Quality Junk, LLC in order to add a level of protection from future irresponsible business partners. The record label goes dormant to build an infastructure and administration that can last through anything.
*2005 - A handful of releases are being put out on a small level to keep the hardcore fans happy, and merch on artist tables. The digital initiave becomes the focus signing direct w/ iTunes and other digital giants. Syntax Distribution flourishes. The lights are staying on.
*2006 - Business has been stabilized. Administration begins to create the business plan that is still being operated today. Organization, focus, and determination grabs the attention of Koch Entertainment.
*2007 - Night Owls 3 kicks off a wave of new releases and celebrates having distribution again.
*2008 - Braille to release new album The IV Edition on 15 April 2008. L.A. Symphony's album "Unleashed" is nominated Hip Hop/Rap Album of the Year for the 39th GMA Dove Awards.
