Syed British relationship

Syed - British relationship played a significant role in making the British empire. Syed also benefited from this relationship. It is almost one thousand years old. It started with crusades. Syed helped the crusaders kings. Richard the king of England became captive in Austria in central Europe and syed helped him to be released.

In India
Syeds were instrumental in making of british empire in India. Mir Jafar sided British in Palassey war in 1757 and helped british rule in Bengal Bihar and Orissa.
Aga Khan I helped the British in First Anglo-Afghan War, and later in capturing Sindh and Baluchistan
Mir Sadiq another syed in Mysore in 1799 sided british against Tipus Sultan. In 1843 Agha Khan another sided British for british seizure of sindh and Baluchistan.

In Pakistan

Sayed Iskandar Mirza and Syed Pervaiz Musharraf as presidents of Pakistan through martial laws helped to bring Pakistan into British fold.

In Middle East
Sharif Hussain of Mecca was the biggest agent in Middle East of Britain. In World War I he sided Britain and changed the course of history.
