Sweet Muenster cheese

Sweet Muenster Cheese is a kosher cheese product sometimes called Munchee, or Sweet Munchee cheese. Normally, it is sold at delicatessens or delicatessen counters at markets, along with fish products often called appetizing foods which include smoked fishes, bagels, cream cheese, and pickled olives. Sweet Muenster Cheese melts easily on crackers or toast.

Sweet Muenster Cheese is not the same product as Muenster cheese; sweet muenster cheese is a processed food, while Muenster cheese is a natural aged and cured cheese.

Sweet Muenster Cheese melts very well and can be used to prepare snacks with little effort.

Delicatessens offer platters and sandwiches with Sweet Muenster Cheese; caterers, sometimes kosher or kosher-style caterers, but others as well who mix Sweet Muenster Cheese with meats, often include Sweet Muenster Cheese on their smoked fish platters.
