SUSU.tv is an online video streaming television station of Southampton University Students' Union. History The TV channel was launched in November 2006 after months of planning. The Union's initial intention was to advertise themselves and improve student experience for Freshers by streaming video content from a promotional DVD. The project has cost about £7,000 to get it off the ground. Current situation Viewers can watch clips regarding events of University life and short films made by Wessex Films society. However, the project is still ongoing. Future plans The website will eventually allow students to upload their own video clips, blog and have profiles. |
