Super Seal

Super Seal is the only non toxic water-based desensitizer available from dentists and clinicians. Unlike most desensitizers, super seal contains no glutaraldehyde and no HEMA. The potassium oxalate bonds with the calcium hydroxyapatite in the tooth structure to create calcium oxalate crystals which occlude the dentinal tubule. Sensitivity is reduced within 30 seconds and can last up to 6 months. Hypersensitivity and sensitivity caused by dental procedures are treated by superseal, with no risk to soft tissue. Effectiveness Super Seal has been shown to greatly reduce the permiability of dentin, which is key to reducing sensitivity. In a study by Kolker et al, Super Seal showed 97.5 % blockage of the dentinal tubules. Super Seal is an American made product based out of Michigan, by Phoenix Dental.
