About Super Mario Hardcore is a free flash game that has reached many flash gaming sites. Super Mario Hardcore is a parody to the video game Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was made by Casualty and Newgrounds. Super Mario Hardcore is also a Koopa Troopa Shoot 'em up that features Mario as the main character. Gameplay In the game, Mario handles weapons to kill Koopa Troopas and Koopa Troopas only. The controlled are as follows: Left / Right Arrow Keys - Move. Up Arrow Key / X - Jump. C - Fire. 1-4 - Select Weapon ( 1-Rifle 2-Rocket 3-Key 4-Minigun Mario Still has the classic jump ability which is used to "Stomp" on enemies. Mario starts with 100 Health points, 3 lives and infinite ammunition. Mario loses 10 Health points every time he establishes contact with an enemy. When Mario's Health points drop to 0 it is game over. Mario gains 100 points for every Koopa Troopa he kills. Levels, Worlds & Stages Stage 1. The Plains The Plains features an early level from Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island. Stage 2. Underworld The Underworld features a level from Super Mario World, Vanilla Dome. Stage 3. Donut Plains Donut Plains features Donut Plains 1 from Super Mario World. Music All of Super Mario Hardcore's tunes and music are remixed tracks from the original game, Super Mario World.
