Super Mario for MegaZeux

Super Mario for MegaZeux or SM4MZX, is a non-profit fangame based on Nintendo's Super Mario series. The 2-D platform game was created with MegaZeux a game creation system (GCS) in 1999 by Tyrone MacLean-Wilson (T-Bone); a Canadian based video game programmer.

No full version of the game has been released publicly. Super Mario for MegaZeux is playable using the MegaZeux program on Windows and Mac. It is possible to play this game on the Wii and Playstation Portable via homebrew programs that are currently under development.



Development

The development of SM4MZX consisted of several MegaZeux programmers from the Digital MZX online community, one of which being, Gilead Kutnick (Exophase), A popular PSP homebrew programmer. Exophase contributed to the programming of the video game sprites.
