Suparno Satpathy

He is a writer, a businessman , he is a award winning state level sports person - (Body Building) , he is a social activist and a young political leader - On the behest of Sr. party leaders he was inducted into the Indian National Congress party in year 2006. He is a star of Orissa Pradesh Congress Committee.

He is the Chairperson of a charitable social cause organization -Smt. Nandini Satpathy Memorial Trust.

In July`2007 he was appointed as the Convener,PMSA-Orissa, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Govt. of India.

Family

Sh. Suparno Satpathy belongs to an illustrious family of India. His great grand father Padmabhushan late Sh.Kalindi Charan Panigrahi was a legendary Oriya writer.

His Grand father late Sh. Devendra Satpathy was twice the Member of Parliament of India from Dhenkanal.

His Grand mother legendary late Smt. Nandini Satpathy was the most illustrious and multifaceted personalities of India. At one point of time she was referred to as the next Prime Minister of India after Mrs. Indira Gandhi. She is referred to as the iron Lady of Orissa. Member of Parliament when Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru was Prime Minister of India .Twice nominated to the Rajya Sabha -Upper House of the Republic of India - I&B minister of India - Minister attached to prime minister in Mrs. Indira Gandhi’s cabinet - former Chief Minister of Orissa – Award winning literary of India, noted social activist.

He was born in 1973 to Smt.Pami & Sh. Nachiketa Satpathy at New Delhi, India.He got married to Smt. Kanchan Satpathy in 1996 they have one daughter.
