Summit Energy Services

Summit Energy Services is an oil field services company headquartered in Williston, North Dakota that handles pipeline construction, roustabout services, site maintenance, storm water and erosion managegment, reclamation services, well monitoring and seasonal services for oil companies.
Located in the heart of the Bakken formation, Summit Energy Services has grown from five employees, when it opened in 2010, to 162 employees in 2012. The company saw monthly revenue increase from $100,000 to $3 million in the 2011.
Summit Energy Services was started by U.S. Naval Academy graduate Michael Sweeney in 2010 in an effort to capitalize on the extreme growth in the Bakken Shale region, which is the biggest U.S. oil field since Alaska's Prudhow bay in 1968.
