Sumit Ghosh

Sumit Ghosh is an Indian film producer, venture capitalist, art connoisseur, and owner of Sumit Ghosh Media, a company founded with the sole aim of providing opportunities to talented artists, irrespective of lineage and hierarchy.
Sumit’s first film as a Producer is Station, which is a bold attempt to make the first Hindi feature film from India’s IT capital Bangalore. Creating a pool of talent, Station's cast and crew, including writer and director Saad Khan comprises all newcomers and is awaiting its release in 2013. Sumit’s dream is to show that there is as much talent in Bangalore as Bollywood and to showcase a small amount of that immense talent through the movie, Station.
Early life and Career
Raised in Ranchi, Sumit graduated as a Computer Engineer from R.V.C.E.He founded Tranquility Capital at the early age of 22, right after college and moved towards the finance sector where he successfully formulated a lucrative career in trading, investments, and novel ventures. From his college days, Sumit had a penchant for artistic excellence and his love for music and film made him creatively produce his first film Station after meeting Saad Khan and Karan Rao, in whom he found similar perspectives and tastes.
