Sub Atomic is a psychedelic trance music project, formed in 2000 by Philip Touralias from Greece. History Sub Atomic came in the world at January of 1979. At 15 years old starts to d.j.-ing and organize small parties in Greece, open air parties the most of them at Varimpompi, Inofita, Plastira Lake and a lot of other places. At the middle of 1998 starts to produce some ritual sounds with his first sound generator, the TB-303 under the name "Tryptomine Dream" and this was just the beginning. 2 years after starts the "Sub Atomic" project and performed live and d.j. sets at a lot of parties/festivals in Greece, Spain and United Kingdom. Music His music produced with a various collection of synthesizers and digital workstations and the style is psychedelic trance with ritual rhythms and atmospheres. He used innovative sounds that make the Sub Atomic music characteristic to trained ears. He had a preference for rich, rhythm tunes, and this was much appreciated in the psytrance scene. His track Ambenta appear in the Greek movie Narcotic (a Nick Tsagarakis film). The track was produced especially to be used in the movie.
