Storage condo

Also known as a Storage Condominium , is a building constructed similar to a self storage facility or warehouse facility in which each unit is turned into a condominium and sold individually. Storage Condos are storage units purchased and owned individually with a fee simple interest. Although this concept of condoizing storage units has been around for years, the construction of these storage condos has rapidly increased since 2000.

With the self storage industry having 2.2 billion square feet of facility constructed in its 35 year history, the storage condo industry is in its infancy with only a limited number of storage condo projects in each state.
