Steve Riach

Steve Riach (born June 17, 1961) is an American filmmaker and television producer, writer, director, and is the founder of the Heart of a Champion Foundation.
Biography
Riach was born in Los Angeles, California, and graduated from Harvard-Westlake School in Studio City, Los Angeles, California. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Communication from in Stockton, California in 1983.
Career
Riach’s sports television career began in the early 1980s as a production assistant for the NBC and CBS affiliates in Los Angeles, and conducted interviews with Los Angeles sports personalities for 5, 6 and 11 pm newscasts. He also started his own production company while in college to produce University of Pacific basketball and football games for air on local television.
In 1988 he created the sports television company VisionQuest for the purpose of taking positive messages of sports personalities in popular media.
In 2006 Riach created SER Media. In 2008 Eterne Films was created and currently is producing the soon to be released film OneHeart.

Riach's documentary productions include: With Open Eyes, a film on the plight of the people in Sudan; , a biographical documentary film on the life and career of the late Hall of Fame football legend; , profiling the world's top female athletes; Reversing the Curse, on the Boston Red Sox historic run to the 2004 World Series championship; , on the life of the baseball slugger; [http://www.alibris.com/booksearch?qwork9914849&matches1&authorVisionQuest&browse1&cm_sp=works*listing*cover/ Spirit of the Game], on the NFL's top role models; Driving Force, a film that provides an inside look at the men behind the wheel in NASCAR. Television specials include; Give Me the Rock, and Hoop Heroes, each of which profiled over a dozen NBA stars; Making the Turn, which takes viewers inside the lives of 15 of the world's top golfers; and Heading for Home, which focuses on the top performers in Major League Baseball; media producer for the annual The Bart Starr Award held in conjunction with the NFL Super Bowl.
Author

Heart of a Champion projects
Steve’s Heart of a Champion educational curriculum is used by schools in 23 states, and his Heart of a Champion corporate training program has been deployed at Fortune 500 companies. Both have produced dramatic measurable results related to behavioral and attitudinal change, and bottom-line results.
Heart of a Champion has partnered on two key initiatives: The Torii Hunter Project and Dallas Elevators powered by Coca-Cola.
Speaker
The principal and founder of Eterne Films and SER Media, and the founder and Board Chairman of the Heart of a Champion Foundation, Steve is a former college baseball player, a cancer survivor, and a frequent speaker to youth organizations, corporations, nonprofits, educational conferences, churches, and sports organizations.
