Stephen Pullin

Stephen Pullin (born December 10th, 1948) is a television production executive and the head of Pullin Television, is best known as the producer/director of the PINKS franchise on Speed Channel. He is also the co-founder/chief creative executive of Disruptive Studios. Disruptive Studios is currently partnered with the National Hot Rod Association to produce NHRA Unleashed, a series of racing events in four American cities- Atlanta, Indianapolis, Columbus, and Gainesville in 2010.
Early Life and Education
An Australian native, Pullin first came to the United States on a Track & Field Scholarship to the University of Texas at El Paso.
Pullin attended the University of Texas in Austin film school where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. Pullin also attended the Preston Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Australia where he received his Fine Arts Degree.
Early Career and Affiliations
From 1992 to 2000, Pullin focused his efforts on internet and software business opportunities. He spent two years developing branded entertainment projects with The Phelps Group. Pullin's interest in online social media lead him to create concurrent websites for the television series and events he produces, including NHRA Unleashed and Pinks .
Over the course of thirty-five years, Pullin worked directly with corporate marketers and other clients to produce image and product launch films for brands including Roland Corporation, IBM, Baxter International, Thomas Guide, and Chrysler. He has also created multimedia and internet projects for companies like Pedigree Petfoods and Time Warner.
Television
Pullin is the executive producer and director of the Pinks television franchise, including the television series Pinks: Lose the Race, Lose Your Ride!, Pinks: All Out, and Pinks: All Outtakes. Pullin began production on the original Pinks series in 2004 from his home office. Pullin established Pullin Television in 2004, and since then the company has produced five seasons of Pinks, three seasons of Pinks: All Outtakes, and will begin the fourth season of Pinks: All Out for Speed Channel this Spring.
Previously Pullin worked with Australian productions such as The Sullivans, , and The Screening Room. Pullin also created, produced and directed television specials such as One to One with Carole King and Hollywood Gets MADD with Siskel & Ebert, sponsored by General Motors.
