Stephen Mattick http://www.mattick.co.uk/ Stephen Mattick, born 22 nd December 1941, is an architectural designer based in Linton, in south east Cambridgeshire. His houses are designed in a traditional style,he has been designing houses since 1976, mainly around the cambridgeshire area. Background Stephen Mattick Was born in London in 1941, he attended Chigwell School in Epping Forest, Essex until the age of 18, where he became an intern at an architect's office, there he says is where he learnt many of the skills he now uses today. During the 60's and 70's Stephen Mattick and his friend Brian Lowe worked in the building trade designing and rebuilding old houses, however, by the 1980's Stephen Mattick had moved to exlusively designing houses. Awards Twice design winner in 1997 and 2005, of The Daily Telegraph - Homebuilding and Renovating magazine s Traditional House of the year File:hmoautstei.jpg Famous Clients Stepehen Mattick has designed for Mark Knopfler singer and guitarist of Dire Staits, Prince Charles, and Will Champion, Drummer of Coldplay.
