StealTheDeal is a deal-a-day website similar to Groupon. It is notable for being the first Canadian website of its kind. StealTheDeal hosts a new deal for purchase every day in most major cities across Canada. Registered members of StealTheDeal can purchase these deals and redeem a printed voucher for local goods and services at considerably lower prices than average. A daily email is sent to the site's members informing them of the current deal available in his/her respective city. Each deal is available for a 24-hour period. The company was founded in 2009. The current slogan is "A Deal a Day, ." The company has been acquired by Sun Media in April 2011 |
