</noinclude> Stanley J. Jaworski is a Brigadier General in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. Career Jaworski was commissioned an officer in 1973 and began training at Vandenberg Air Force Base. After completing his training, he was assigned to the 508th Strategic Missile Squadron at Whiteman Air Force Base. While stationed at Whiteman, he was later assigned to the 351st Strategic Missile Wing and the 510th Strategic Missile Squadron. After serving twice as Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies and as a recruiting officer at Lehigh University, Jaworski was stationed at Fort Indiantown Gap. In 1999, he assumed command of a regional support group in the 193d Special Operations Wing. Jaworski served as Chief of Staff of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard from 2003 to 2004 and Director of the Joint Staff of the Pennsylvania National Guard from 2004 to 2005. In 2004, he also became Chief of Plans and Force Development of the Pennsylvania National Guard. Awards he has received include the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Achievement Medal, the Outstanding Unit Award with three oak leaf clusters, the Organizational Excellence Award with two oak leaf clusters, the Combat Readiness Medal, the National Defense Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Air Force Longevity Service Award with silver and one bronze oak leaf cluster, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Small Arms Marksmanship Ribbon and the Air Force Training Ribbon.
