Standard Networks

Standard Networks, Inc. is an American privately held company, first incorporated on 1 April 1989. The company is based in Madison, Wisconsin.

History

Standard Networks got started in 1989 developing front-end processors (FEPs) and gateways for large IBM and Unisys computer systems. Their UniGate and OpenIT FEPs converted protocols and data formats and exchange files between mainframes and network devices.

In the mid-1990's Standard Networks applied its experience to the task of integrating IBM and Unisys mainframe data with Web, Windows, and XML-capable applications. Its ActiveHEAT Host Access COM object converted and exchanged data between legacy hosts and server-based applications.

In 2001, the MOVEit® family of secure file transfer management software was first released. These products enable 'end-to-end' secure encrypted exchange, processing and storage of sensitive data in file, message, and Web form posting formats, between a wide variety of systems, over trusted networks and the Internet.

In 2007, the company celebrated its , a streak that extends back nearly two decades.
