Stacee Jaxx is a fictional character portrayed by Tom Cruise in the upcoming movie Rock of Ages proposed to be realease in the summer of 2012. Biography Former lead singer of Arsenal, the biggest rock band in the world is now a solo act and has fled to Latin America to evade certain crimes that he committed in the United States of America. First Look Over the weekend Tom Cruise’s official Twitter page let the world see the first glimpse of the Hollywood star rocking out as his film persona, Stacee Jax, in Rock of Ages. It image certainly looks air grabbingly cheesy. But hey, that’s what Rock of Ages will be all about: fun, not to be taken too seriously, tongue in cheek and sing-a-long-tastic (a made up word which seems highly appropriate here). Rock of Ages began it’s life as a little off Broadway musical which quickly became something of a phenomenon. At the core of Rock of Ages lies a whole bunch of 70′s and 80′s rock ballads woven around a pretty cheesy storyline that focuses on a boy, Drew, played by Diego Boneta; and a girl, Sherrie, played by Julianne Hough looking to make it big in the music industry. They start working at an 80′s Rock Club where they meet some pretty unique characters. The supporting cast is pretty big as well. Malin Ackerman, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Bryan Cranston, Paul Giamatti and Mary J. Blige all make an appearance in the feature. The film is being directed by Adam Shankman. All it really needs is Jack Black to show up as the narrator, to be the perfect fist-pull-skadoosh of a spectacle.
