Sridhar Lagadapati

INTRODUCTION
Sridhar Lagadapati is the Vice-Chairman of Lanco Infratech Ltd., (listed, market capitalization app. $4 billion), an integrated infrastructure developer with interests in Power, Infrastructure, Construction and Property Development. Lanco Infratech operates with 23 subsidiaries across 12 States in India. In addition, he is a Director in most of the companies of Lanco Group.
Sridhar is also the Chairman of Larsco Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., a multimedia entity focused on audio-visual entertainment. Larsco is the brainchild of Sridhar, backed by his wife Sirisha, showcasing his passion for entertainment through the audio-visual medium. Today, Larsco is a successful brand in the film industry with blockbusters such as Evadi Gola Vadidi and Style.
Parallelly, Sridhar consciously makes time to pursue his other passion in life, sports. He is an active tennis player and an avid golfer. He constantly encourages his company staff to participate in corporate Cricket tournaments every year, and he plays in most of them.
As an achiever and a conscientious individual, Sridhar reaches out to the disadvantaged and the deserving as a trustee of LIGHT (Lanco Institute of General & Humanitarian Trust), and as the Managing Trustee of Sri Prasahi Charities.
Sridhar is a frequent international traveler, and has visited many countries on business and pleasure with family. He lives in Hyderabad with his wife Sirisha and their two sons Prashant and Sahidev.
BIOGRAPHY
Sridhar Lagadapati was born to Rama Lakshmamma and Rama Naidu on the 14th of June 1968 in Nellore, AP. After his schooling from Loyola Public School, Guntur, he did his intermediate education at Siddartha Arts College, Vijayawada. He then went on to acquire his Engineering degree from Siddaganga Institute of Technology from Tumkur, Karnataka. Later, he went to the US to complete his Masters in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University (EMU).
He married Sirisha in 1995. During the same year, he was appointed Joint Managing Director of Lanco Infratech Limited (formerly Lanco Constructions). By 1997, he took rein of the company as its Managing Director and today functions as its Vice-Chairman. He promoted many Lanco Group companies such as Lanco Industries, Lanco Kondapalli Power, Lanco Global Systems, Lanco Kalahasthi Castings, Rithik Energy Systems and Clarion Power Corporation.
As an active sports and fitness enthusiast, he participates in many tennis tournaments. Recently, he was adjudged Best Player at the JHIC tennis tournament. Under his guidance, Lanco Group sponsors eligible players in this sport for National and International tournaments. He encourages Lanco and Larsco’s participation in many local corporate Cricket tournaments.
Otherwise, he can also be found trying to reduce his handicap on the golf links of Hyderabad.
His passion for entertainment and recreation lead to the birth of Larsco Entertainment in 2003. The company adheres to its motto of offering quality entertainment and nurturing budding talent for cinematic excellence. It produces movies under Ramalakshmi Cine Creations with the logo of Mother and Child as a symbol of happiness, signifying the kind of cinematic contentment that Larsco seeks to give its audience. He followed up his first movie Evadi Gola Vadidhi a blockbuster, with other hits such as Style and Latchiyam.

Snehageetham (Telugu) Released 16 July 2010 to a great reception to a smaller-than-usual release in Multiplexes and Theater Complexes of Andhra Pradesh and in 6 centers in the USA. As the movie started running towards 50 Days in theaters of AP, it was released again simultaneously on 14 August 2010 (with up to 50 additional centers in AP).
