The Albanian director and actor Spiro Duni was born in Elbasan, Albania in 1957. Played in the Teatri "Skampa" since an early age. In 1979 he won the audition to enter the "Higher Institute of Arts" (Instituti i Larte i Arteve) and in 1983 he graduated with a degree as a Director and was employed as the first director by the "Teatri Skampa" in Elbasan. In 1990 he worked closely at the Teatro di Roma for a year. Through his life he has contributed to Albanian Theater and Cinematography. He performed in many movies, directing some. He has performed and directed theatrical shows.
He is also the father of the Swiss-Albanian jazz singer, Elina Duni.
