Spelltropy is a fictional disease in the novel series Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. It is first mentioned in the sixth book in the series when the centaur Foaly diagnoses Artemis Fowl II's mother with having the disease. Spelltropy is a magical illness brought on by magical exposure to someone else who has the disease. Cure The cure of Spelltropy is the fluid from the brain of a rare species of lemur, which the fairy Opal Koboi and her associates hunted to extinction, in order to get the cure, without telling the other fairies where the cure came from until it was too late to save the species. |
