Spectrum bridge

Spectrum Bridge Inc. built the first real-time marketplace for wireless spectrum. Headquartered in Lake Mary, Florida, the company was made possible after the May 31, 2000 secondary spectrum market effort launched by the United States government agency Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The FCC's "Secondary Markets Initiative" removes regulatory barriers and facilitates the development of secondary markets in spectrum usage rights among wireless radio services. Spectrum Bridge's slogan is "The online marketplace for spectrum."

Company history

Spectrum Bridge's founders were part of startup company Mesh Networks, which was purchased by Motorola in 2004. Spectrum Bridge was named after the relationship it allows between spectrum holders and purchasers. This company was incorporated in March, 2007.
