Soumya Jain is the chief editor and CEO of LuxuryFacts, an online luxury magazine, which started in India in 2010. She has also co-edited The Luxury Market in India: Maharajas to Masses, published by Palgrave Macmillan (2012), along with Glyn Atwal. She is quite known in the Indian as well as global luxury industry and is regularly quoted in the media. A writer and journalist to begin with, she writes for many publications apart from her own. Life Jain was born in 1987 in New Delhi, India. She completed her schooling from Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi, and went on to graduate in B.A (Hons) Journalism from Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi in 2008. She notably worked in Exposure Media Marketing (which publishes niche luxury magazines asiaSpa India, MillionaireAsia India, Asia-Pacific Boating India and more), before starting LuxuryFacts in 2010. Due to her expertise in the luxury market, she has been profiled in and quoted by publications such as Business Today, Fast Company, Yourstory.in, Hindustan Times, Brunch by Hindustan Times, Business India, Mint Indulge, Financial Times and more. She also taught online journalism in University of Delhi briefly before moving to Chicago, Illinois, United States where she currently resides.
