Sorry to be Safe

"Sorry to be Safe" is a one-page funny animal comic book gag story written, drawn, and lettered by Carl Barks. It was first published by Dell Publishing in black, red, and white on the inside front cover of Four Color #199 (October 1948).
Other stories in the issue are the 32-page feature-length story Sheriff of Bullet Valley and two other one-page gag stories: "Best Laid Plans" and "The Genuine Article".
Comics scholar Stefano Priarone points out that Donald Duck was seen as an unlucky Duck from the very beginning of his cartoon and comic strip life. "He is all but daring Lady Luck
to attack him back", Priarone writes about "Sorry to be Safe". And she does, when the boys blow up a dynamite stash.
Plot
Huey, Dewey, and Louie want to play baseball, but Donald Duck does not want them breaking windows with their ball. The boys find a huge field (far from houses) and begin playing. A ball is hit out of the field, and strikes a stash of dynamite. Every window in town is broken in the explosion.
