Sons of the Mariner is a two volume work of fantasy by English author Suzanne Francis. The books were published in Ebook format in 2010-2011 by Mushroom Publishing. Description The books tell the stories of Suvi Markku and her granddaughter Dr. Tessa Kivelson. Wintermoon Ice begins with Suvi's experiences running a refugee shelter during Severnessa's war with neighboring Beringarth. The books are set in the Gyre, which encompasses both an imaginary town in the United States called Cloudy Bay and a country called Severnessa in the world Nunabind. Sons of the Mariner comprises the following two books: Volume One--Wintermoon Ice Volume Two--Summermoon Fire |
