*For the British shoegazing record label, see Sonic Cathedral Inc is an American online record store, webzine, and radio station based in Baltimore, Maryland. It specialises in the promotion and sale of female-fronted Gothic, heavy metal and ethereal wave music. History Sonic Cathedral was started by John Wolff III in 2001 along with Rick Harper. Originally starting as an online record store specialising in female-fronted metal - the first of its kind - over the years the company expanded to include a webzine and more recently, an online radio station. Over time, John's wife, Becky Wolff, has become a full time member of the company and is also their webmistress. |
