Solo Island

Solo Island is a small, rocky, forested island owned by Camp Timberlane in Lake of Two Islands. It is the only named island in the lake.
Uses
The island is used for overnight camping by Camp Timberlane during June, July and August.
Name
The island got its name because when campers decide to overnight on the island, they do it alone.
Location
The island is located in the southeast corner of the lake, which is an area which narrows and the lake ends. There is a sandbar which stretches about halfway to the island from the near shore and then becomes deeper as it approaches the island.
