Snuttis

Snuttis, or Snuttis.com was launched by Daniele Testa as a parody on the Swedish youth community Lunarstorm. Strangely it caught a major interest as Swedish youth started to register in large numbers. By 2003 Snuttis had 1.3 million registered members and was one of Nordic’s leading online communities.

Snuttis was the first online community to offer the users to see which friends that were online and one of the first to offer free SMS to its users.

History
The community was conceived by Daniele Testa, in Skara, Sweden Snuttis's founder, in 2000. Snuttis was developed to:
* Provide young Swedish internet users an alternative to Lunarstorm.
* Offer an even more casual and laid back commmunications platform to cater for the needs of the youth.
* Develop services to help users communicate with each other over long distances, free of charge or cheaply.

In 2004 Snuttis was split into tow parts the Snuttis Kids for the youth below 18 years of age and the Snuttis Grown Up to those above 18 years.

In December 2006 Daniele Testa and Andreas Swahn, CEO of Studentis Group's initiated merger talks and in January 2007 Snuttis was merged into Studentis Group along with Nappet.se, Spana.com, xForum.se, Users.se, Exice.se, Snyggis.se and Webfolk.se.
