Michael Chimeruche Alozie (born March 28, 2001), better known by his stage name Snazzy the Optimist or Snazzy, is a Nigerian born, South African raised musical artist based in Canada. In the year 2010, he caught the attention of Jacob Zuma, former president of South Africa after wining a rap battle for Hoërskool Jan van Riebeeck in Cape Town, South Africa. He was chosen to appear on "Amazing Kids" most anticipated and most hyped show (2010) in Cape Town to showcase his talents in music.
In October 2021 he released his single “Seluna” which is charted on the Nigerian iTunes music Chart, making him Top 40 iTunes Nigerian music charting artist.
