SmoothVideo Project (SVP) is an application that increases the frame-rate of videos in real-time video via motion interpolation. This typically makes videos look smoother and eliminates jitter. Frame-rates are typically converted from 24 FPS (frames per second) to 60 FPS. The application is not a video player itself, but allows several other video players to playback its output, which is managed with a GUI. The GUI also supports profiles for different frame sizes. SVP uses an Avisynth script together with ffdshow to process the video. SVS also uses OpenCL which enables almost half of the processing to be done on a compatible GPU.
