Smartron India Private Ltd is an Indian global technology & internet of things (IoT) company that is headquartered at Hyderabad. The company was founded in the year 2014. The Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador and an investor of the company. The company also signed an MoU with IT Minister of Telangana government K. T. Rama Rao to invest Rs. 1500 crores on R&D. Funding Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar invested an undisclosed sum in the company. Tron-X Tronx is an Al powered IoT platform developed by Smartron which provides an user experience to devices, sensors, services, community and care. Investments In Feb 2017, Smartron announced its investment in Volta Motors, a Chennai-based automotive startup company that is designing and developing sustainable electric vehicles for India and the Global Market. The company also signed an MoU with Telangana Government to expand its R&D in Telangana during one of the events attended by IT Minister of Telangana K. T. Rama Rao. |
