Slo Ball Placement

Slo Ball Placement is an official term used when playing Beer Pong or Beruit.

Slo Ball Placement is when you move the successfully made beer pong ball to the back of the cup so subsequent shots will bounce off and out of the same cup. This generally happens because the force of the ball shot will hit the other ball resting on the top of the beer and bounce out because of the impact.

This maneuver was first implemented in San Luis Obispo by Mike 'Thizz' Walsh. Mike would slowly shift the ball of every cup made to the back and when the second ball bounced off the ball in the succesfully made cup he would tastelessly scream 'BALL PLACEMENNNNNT' rolling out the 'N' as long as possible to add aggravation to an already painful miss.

SLO Ball Placement is now a popular move by teams in Southern California and although it is looked down upon by competition it is very effective if allowed by the tournament director. Two classy veterans Jared Norris and Darren Seibert have taken the term and made it their official 'Team Name' in the San Diego Beer Pong League on Thursday Nights at McMurphy's Pub.

The Legacy of Mike 'Thizz' Walsh lives on everytime Slo Ball Placement is effective in a beer pong game.
