Skywire is a flash-based computer game made by Nitrome Limited. The object of the game is to drive a Cable Car to the finish without hitting the obstacles. Release The game was released by Nitrome in 2007, and it is also featured on miniclip.com. Numerous other websites also featured the game due to its high popularity. Skywire was a huge success, and this prompted Nitrome to develope a follow-up, entitled Skywire 2, which featured a two-player mode and bosses. Description The object of the game is to drive a Cable Car with three characters in to the end of the cable-line, avoiding animals on the way. Each time the player chrashes with an animal he or she loses one character. Points are awarded for the amount of characters that survive multiplied by the time. Only the "up" and "down"-arrows on the keyboard are used to steer the cable car. To win, you must pass all 20 levels of the game. Toy Enemies Your enemies are toy animals, which if they touch the cable car, a passenger loses its life. The enemies include toy rattlesnakes, frogs, killer whales, bomb-dropping birds, wind-up hippopotamus heads, remote controlled turtles, funny-faced butterflies and skydiving panda bears.
