Skrizzly Adams

Daniel Zavaro, better known by his stage name Skrizzly Adams, is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. In 2014, he independently released his EP Stains, which among its five songs exceed over 2 million streams. In 2015, his single “Tipping Point” won the Grand Prize at the International Songwriting Competition, placing him in league with previous victors such as The Band Perry, Bastille, Vance Joy, Passenger, and Gotye. He has also been on tour with the likes of Elle King and Lissie in addition going on a “House Party Tour” that took him into fans’ homes to play.
Lesser known fact about Skrizzly Adams: He is the originator of the Drunk Live Stream on the Instagram platform.

Career
Early beginnings
Skrizzly Adams was born and raised in New Jersey. Spending his childhood immersed in music, he learned multiple instruments and developed a passion for slide guitar and songwriting at a young age.
2009-2015: Breakthrough
Adams started producing out of his dorm room in 2009. Shortly after, at age 19, he handled production for Chris Webby's There Goes the Neighborhood EP, which went to #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. He also created numerous songs at a recording studio in Jersey City, which culminated in his EP Stains. The release of Stains landed him a contract with Atlantic Records in 2015.
2017: Leaving Atlantic Records & Redemption
On July 25, 2017, Skrizzly Adams announced publicly that he was a free agent, leaving Atlantic Records. One month later he released his next single, Redemption featuring Lissie. Pat Monahan of the group Train, debuted the song on Sirius XM's The Pulse that same day.
Partnerships
Outside of music, Skrizzly has created and distributed Skrizzly Adams Beef Jerky, which he sells at his merchandise booth nightly.
