Sixties Man

Sixties Man is a song by British rock band Sweet released in 1979 which describes the 1960s. It is not one of their well-known songs. They also did a performance on Galaxy which is also known as their music video for the song. Sixties Man was released in England and Europe on Polydor. In the United States it was released by Capitol Records. Despite promotional work by Capitol, Sixties Man, failed to put Sweet back on the map and it was their last single. Sixties Man was written and designed restore Sweet's place in the charts, however it is notable, as being disliked by bassist Steve Priest, so therefore it is seldom played live.
