SixAxis

SixAxis is the holding company for 10 brands that encompass the fall protection, loading platform, sales resource planning and marketing industries. The company is headquartered in Andrews, S.C., and is run by co-founders Rob Honeycutt and Fred Harmon.
SixAxis is housed in Andrews, S.C., along with satellite offices in Charleston, S.C.; Sumter, S.C.; Georgetown, S.C.; and Kent, England.
History
On August 23, 2003, Honeycutt and Harmon founded SafeRack. The two sold loading rack and safety-related products to manufacturing facilities. Without a manufacturing facility, SafeRack’s products were sourced by local fabrication companies.
In 2005, SafeRack opened its own manufacturing facility at its Andrews, S.C., site. SafeRack shipped its first manufactured product in December of the same year.
As Honeycutt and Harmon continued to diversify their portfolio, SixAxis was formed in 2010 to serve as a holding company for their various brands. This was released in 2010. The software was followed by the introduction of RollaStep (2011) and the formation of Atlatl Software (2012).
